We intend to accomplish our mission through three principal campaigns:

1. Clearing a path

   First, we will create examples (of what? see what.html) which compellingly demonstrate what is possible. (Using a "path building" analogy, this step could be compared to beating a path into a huge, unexplored frontier which is rich with resources.)

2. Mapping the path

   Next we will extract from our experience the principles involved in the creation of these materials, and use the same techniques to teach these techniques to others. (Making it possible for other pioneers to follow our lead into the frontier, creating their own branches off of and extending our paths.)

3. Improving and widening the path

   "Finally" we will work to lay the groundwork, smooth barriers, and in general facilitate the participation of others in making, showing, and paving the way. (Making it possible for large numbers of people to take advantage of the newly explored country.) ("Finally" is in quotes because this is really a cycle--there will, for the forseeable future, always be plenty more pathmaking to do.)
